3-The Biggest Health Myth I Believed

Sometimes the biggest health myths are the hardest to unlearn.

One of the biggest health myths I believed for YEARS…

“Eat every 2–3 hours to keep your metabolism running.”

Sound familiar? I followed that advice faithfully.

  • Breakfast
  • Snack
  • Lunch
  • Snack
  • Dinner
  • Snack

I thought I was doing everything “right.”

Instead…

  • I was constantly thinking about food
  • I was always hungry
  • My energy crashed
  • My weight kept climbing
  • I needed more and more caffeine just to function

Looking back, I see that my body was exhausted.

For the first time, I started learning something that completely changed my perspective…

Every single time we eat, our body has work to do.

  • Digest
  • Process
  • Store
  • Balance

What if our bodies simply need a little more time between meals?

I used to think feeling hungry every couple of hours was normal.

Now I realize always thinking about food isn’t necessarily a sign that your body needs more food…

Sometimes it’s a sign that something else needs attention.

This has been one of the biggest mindset shifts on my own health journey.

Have you ever been told to eat every 2–3 hours?
