For years, I thought the hardest part of eating healthier would be giving up snacks. I always felt hungry.
I believed I needed to eat every couple of hours to keep my metabolism going.
Sound familiar?
So, naturally… I started researching.
That’s when I found Unimate.
Unimate is made from yerba mate, a plant that has been used in South America for centuries.
But what really caught my attention were the naturally occurring plant compounds:
- Chlorogenic acids
- Theobromine
- Mate saponins
Chlorogenic acids are polyphenols, natural compounds found in plants that have been widely studied for their role in supporting healthy metabolism, blood sugar, and overall wellness.
Theobromine the same naturally occurring compound found in dark chocolate (without the calories) that is associated with a calmer, more sustained sense of alertness and focus rather than the quick jolt many people associate with coffee.
Mate saponins unique compounds from yerba mate that are being studied for supporting metabolic flexibility, the body’s ability to switch efficiently between using carbohydrates and fat for fuel.
One of the things that really caught my attention was the research on appetite.
In one study, people who drank Unimate after an overnight fast reported feeling fuller and had less desire to eat compared with a placebo. Researchers also observed lower calorie intake at the following meal.
I drink one throughout the morning and then I have another one throughout the afternoon. It has completely replaced my coffee habit, and I honestly look forward to it every day.
Once I understood how Balance and Unimate work together, another piece of the puzzle finally made sense.
It wasn’t just what I was eating. It was when I was eating!!!
That simple shift has probably been one of the biggest “aha!” moments in my entire health journey.
I’ll explain why giving our bodies regular breaks between meals changed everything for me.
It’s a concept you’ve probably heard of before…
But once I understood the science behind it, it finally made sense.
I promise… it’s much easier than it sounds.
