Eating for your Blood Type

With so many diet options out there, wouldn’t it be nice to know if there was one that was really made for you?

D’Adamo claims that the foods you eat react chemically with your blood type. If you follow a diet designed for your blood type, your body will digest food more efficiently. You’ll lose weight, have more energy, and help prevent disease.

Blood types refer to a classification system that describes the presence of antigens, or proteins, on the surface of red blood cells. These antigens determine whether you may be able to receive a blood transfusion from another person.

Your blood type, or blood group, depends on what type your parents passed down to you.
